- The Red Cross will hold blood drives across the area: On May 19th from 1:30 to 5:30 in Scotland County at Rutledge Community Building. The 21st at the NEMO Fairgrounds in Kirksville from Noon to 5:30pm.
- The Huntsville Community Club will host a Mud Run on Sat. May 16 with truck racing starting at 1pm at Sutliff Stadium in Huntsville. Admission is $10 and kids under 10 are free with proceeds going to Children's Miracle Network.
- The Macon Tigers Special Olympics Torch Run will be held on Wed. May 20 at 10am at 702 North Missouri Street in Macon.
