Randolph County Old Settlers kicks off in Huntsville with events running throughout the day including a quilt show, baby show, pageant, demonstrations, Vendors Market, cake walk, fun with the Fire Department, car show, parade, live entertainment and more. Moberly Spartan Booster Club Golf tournament will be held at Heritage Hills Golf Course with tee time at 9am.

 

The Community Kitchen in Moberly is open to serve meals to local residents in need from 10am-2pm at 411 West Reed Street in Moberly.

 

Randolph County Historical Society will be open today from 10am-1pm

 

Randolph County Old Settlers Parade begins at 6pm.


Movie Night in the Park will be held at Moberly’s Tannehill Park behind the Moberly Post Office. Bring your blankets, lawn chairs and the whole family to enjoy Hocus Pocus on the big screen!  Show time is at 7pm.

 

VFW Post 2508 in Kirksville will host a dance from 7-10pm. Admission is just $6, everyone is welcome.

 




SUNDAY 9-15-2019

                  

The Magic City Line Mini Train will be open in Moberly’s Rothwell Park! The train runs every Sunday from 1-4pm and rides are $2.50 per person. Everyone and every age is welcome with special seating available for the elderly and disabled.  

 

The Senior Americans Multipurpose Center in Moberly is looking for volunteers to help with home delivered meals program. For more information contact Lacy at 660-263-5468 or stop by the office.

 

Safe Passage Domestic Violence & Crisis Intervention Center is looking for Volunteers.  If you are interested in volunteering, contact Billy Meachum at 660-676-4989 or 269-8999.

Livingston County Health Center will have WIC day.

 

Macon County Health Department will do WIC recertification’s by appointment only. The will also offer TB testing.

 

Huntsville Book Club will meet at 5pm to discuss the book “Carnegie’s Maid” by Marie Benedict. Books are available for checkout and everyone is welcome!

 

Livingston County Library presents “Protect Yourself from Scams” at the LCL Courtroom at 5:30pm.

 

Moberly Library will have “Reading to Rover” at 6pm. Children Kindergarten and older can come read to therapy dogs to help improve their literacy skills.




TUESDAY 9-17-2019

Macon County Health Department will have WIC voucher pickups and TB testing.

Livingston County Health Center will have walk in office visits.

Sullivan County Health Center will have WIC Clinic Day from 9am-5pm.

The Adair County Commission will meet today from 8:30am-4pm at the courthouse in Kirksville.

A Veterans service officer will be at the family service building in Macon from 9am-3pm. The phone number is 660-385-6192.

Moberly Library will host Crocheters, Knitters and Thinkers at 9am.

The Linn County Commission will meet from 9am-4:30pm at the courthouse in Linneus.

The Randolph County Commission will meet from 10am-4pm at the courthouse in Huntsville.

Livingston County Library will host Wee Read Story Time for children ages 2-5 at 10am.

The Brookfield Rotary Club will meet at noon in Brookfield.

Macon Chamber membership meeting will be held at Noon at the Pear Tree Kitchen & Bar.

Madison Library will host crochet club at 1pm. New and experienced crafters welcome!

The Randolph County Historical Society will be open from 3-8pm for genealogical research assistance.

Livingston County Library will host a class for young adults ages 13-18 to make their own Popsocket from 5-6pm

The Moberly Optimist Club will meet at Fiesta at 6:30pm.
