Livingston County Health Center will have WIC day.

 

Macon County Health Department will do WIC recertification’s by appointment only. The will also offer TB testing.

 

Pershing Health System is participating in the Summer Food Service Program, Linn County Children up to age 18 as well as any disabled adult ages 18-20 and who are still involved in school programs may go to the South City Park Shelter in Brookfield from Noon-1pm for a free lunch.

                                               

Moberly Library will host the Mindcraft Adventures Guild for middle and high school students at 1pm.

 

Livingston County Library will host a webcast of NASA’S 50th Anniversary of Apollo 11’s Moon landing at 3pm, everyone is welcome.

 

Moberly Library will host a presentation “All Maps Are Lies” by Kelly Johnston of the State Historical Society of Missouri Speakers Bureau at 5pm.

 

Huntsville Library Book Club will meet at 5pm to discuss the book “Nine Perfect Strangers” by Laine Moriarty. Books are available for checkout and everyone is welcome!

 

Moberly Library will also host Reading to Rover for children in kindergarten and older. Kids will practice reading skills by reading to a certified therapy dogs and their handler.

 

Randolph County Fair kicks off this week celebrating the achievements of the Randolph County 4-H and FFA. TUESDAY 7-9-2019

Randolph County Fair Royalty Night kicks off with the crowning of the 4-H King & Queen, followed by the baby show at 6:30pm and wrapping up with the royalty pageant at 7:30pm.  There will also be FREE fun for kids ages 12 and under!

Moberly’s Busy Busy Beavers 4-H Club will host a breakfast at the Lodge in Rothwell Park from 6:30-8:30am.

 

Livingston County Health Center will hold an immunization clinic today from 7-11:30am. For appointments call 660-646-5506

 

Macon County Health Department will do blood pressure and cholesterol screenings from 8-11:30am. Walk-ins welcome.

 

Sullivan County Health Department will hold lactation classes taught by breastfeeding peer counselors from 9am-1pm. Classes run every 30 minutes.

 

A veteran’s service officer will be at the Family Service building in Macon from 9am-3pm. The phone number is 660-385-6192.

Magic City Clover’s 4-H Club pedal tractor pull will be held at 6pm at the Lodge in Moberly’s Rothwell Park

 

Linn County Republican Women will meet at Center Stage restaurant in Marceline, with social hour beginning at 6:30pm and meeting to follow at 7pm.

 

Randolph County Fair dairy cattle show begins at 6:30pm followed by the beef show at 7pm.




FRIDAY 7-19-2019

 

The Jack & Maxine Thornburg Scholarship Pancake Breakfast will be held fom 6:30-8:30am the the Lodge in Rothwell Park.

 

Randolph County Fair Dairy Goat show will be held at 8am, as well as the rabbit and poultry show.

 

Sullivan County Health Department will be open Noon-3:30pm

 

A veteran’s service officer will be in Moberly, next to the USDA Building on county road 1325, from 9am-4pm.

 

Livingston County Library will host an Escape Room- Out of this World for teens from 9am-5pm.

 

Moberly Library will host BINGO at 11am. The event is free and everyone welcome.

Red Rock Thrashers Club from Pella, IA will be conducting their 17th annual antique tractor ride with over 200 antique tractors riding from Kirskville to Milan today. Tomorrow they will ride from Kirksville to LaPlata


The Flip Side Band will entertain at the Grand River Multipurpose Center in Chillicothe at 7pm. Admission is $6.

 




SATURDAY 7-20-2019

SUNDAY 7-21-2019

 

The Magic City Line Mini Train will be open in Moberly’s Rothwell Park! The train runs every Sunday from 1-4pm and rides are $2.50 per person. Family Passes are available the Parks and Recreation office. Everyone and every age is welcome with special seating available for the elderly and disabled.  

 

The Novinger Log Homestead will be open from 2-4pm every Sunday now through September 1st

 

The Senior Americans Multipurpose Center in Moberly is looking for volunteers to help with home delivered meals program. For more information contact Lacy at 660-263-5468 or stop by the office.
