The NEMO Fair continues this week at the NEMO Fairgrounds in Kirksville.

 

The Jack & Maxine Thornburg Scholarship Pancake Breakfast will be held at The Lodge in Rothwell Park 6:30-8:30am.

 

Linn County Fair is underway this week at the Linn County Fairgrounds in Brookfield's South City Park.

The Audrain County Fair kicks off today with events going on through Tuesday at the Audrain County Fairgrounds in Mexico.


The Sullivan County Health Department will hold a blood sugar and blood pressure clinic from 8:30-9am.

 

Moberly Public Library will have Bingo! At 11am, Snacks will be provided and all ages are welcome.

 

A Community Blood Drive will be held at the Brookfield Immaculate Conception Catholic Church school basement in honor of the late Bob Walgren from 1:30-7pm.

 

The Torque N Tigers quarter scale tractor pulling team will be at the Randolph County Fair in Rothwell Park at 3pm

 

Brookfield High School Alumni Weekend will kick off today. Events include a golf tournament, fright night in the park, 5 &10k Run, softball tournament, parade, alumni banquet with hall of fame induction, and the Helm Street Inn gathering finale.

 

Brookfield Church of the Nazarene will host a Gospel Music Jubilee today through Sunday.  Tonight’s events include a dinner beginning at 6pm and a concert by the Dysart Family.

Tomorrow’s dinner begins at 6:30 followed by music by Glory Road.  Sunday’s events include church services beginning at 9:30am, followed by lunch and music by Renewed Quartet.

 

Need plans for dinner?  Head to the Randolph County Fair for a delicious BBQ Meal beginning at 4:30pm, “to-go” orders available, followed by free entertainment by Tex Carroll.

Busy Busy Beavers 4-H Club will host a biscuit & gravy breakfast with all the trimmings tomorrow morning from 7-11am at The Lodge in Rothwell Park.

Randolph County Fair car show will be held from 8am-Noon in Rothwell Park.

 

Randolph County Junior 4H Leaders will have free fun for kid’s games at the Riley Pavilion in Rothwell Park from 10-11:30am for kids 12 and under. 

 

The 4H horse show will be held at 11am at the horse arena in Rothwell Park.

 

Moberly Library will host Saturday Movies at the Library showing “The Cat in the Hat” beginning at Noon.  This is a family friendly, fun and free event and everyone is welcome.

 

Randolph County Fair Baby Show will be held today at 1pm at the Riley Pavilion in Rothwell Park next to The Lodge, registration begins at Noon.

 

A pie and cake contest will be held at The Lodge in Rothwell Park from 11am-2pm.

 

Family Fun Night will conclude the Randolph County Fair this evening at the Riley Pavilion with dancing, karaoke and featuring entertainment by Higbee’s own, Joe Roberts.  Everyone is welcome!

The Audrain County Fair continues this weekend at the Audrain County Fairgrounds in Mexico.


The Adair County Health Department will hold a regular clinic day with children’s immunizations, blood sugar, and blood pressure checks, and fasting cholesterol screenings for Adair county residents all day at their office in Kirksville.

 

Livingston County Health Center in Chillicothe will have WIC day at their office in Chillicothe.

 

Macon County Health Department will hold WIC re-certifications by appointment only, and they will hold TB testing at their office in Macon. 

 

The Adair County Commission will meet today through Wednesday from 8:30am to 4pm at the courthouse in Kirksville.

 

A Veterans Service Officer will be in Moberly next to the USDA building on Co Rd 1325 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

 

Moberly library will hold school age story time at 10am for kids 5 and older.  Children must be accompanied by an adult.

 

Paris Library will host Mad Science of St. Louis for a performance at 11am. All ages are welcome to attend.

 

Moberly Public Library will have Teen Time at 1pm for the Summer Reading Program. For questions call 660-263-4426 ext 7.

The Moberly Optimist Club will meet at the brick in Moberly at 6:30 AM tomorrow (Tuesday) morning.

 

Macon Chamber of Commerce will hold their Chamber Membership Meeting tomorrow at noon at the Pear Tree Kitchen and bar, guest speaker will be Allie Foster of Macon Electric Co-Op.  Please RSVP to the Chamber office for lunch at 660-385-2811.
